Vivo OriginOS 7 Rollout in India Begins End-October
Vivo has announced the India rollout plan for OriginOS 7. The Android 17-based software will reach the first phones by the end of October 2026.
The first batch includes the Vivo X Fold 5 and the X300 series. The X200 series will follow in mid-November. X100, V70 and V60 series phones get it in mid-December.
V50 phones will get the update by end-December. V40, S2, T5 and T4 series follow in January 2027. The final batch, including V30 and Y400 series, is set for end-February 2027.
OriginOS 7 brings AI features like AI Pet Pals and an intent wheel. Origin Workbench supports up to five active apps. Jovi works across phones and PCs.
No iQOO phones appear on the list. Vivo is expected to announce a separate schedule for them.
OriginOS 7 also brings better cross-device features. Vivo Office Kit connects phones and PCs. AI Call Answering can take calls and transcribe them. Security Shield adds protection against spam calls and unsafe links.
