Shakti Shalini may move to March 2027, avoid clash with King

Aneet Padda’s Shakti Shalini may move its release to March 2027. The film was earlier set for December 24, 2026, which would clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s King.
Maddock Films is reportedly reconsidering the date. Sources said the makers want a solo release for the film rather than a festive box office collision.
Shakti Shalini is part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe. It is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who made Munjya and Thamma. Vishal Jethwa and Viineet Kumar Siingh also star.
The film will be Nana Patekar’s last big-screen outing. He plays a mysterious role linked to mystical practices. His scenes were kept largely secret by the makers.
Vishal Jethwa said he had heard the rumours but did not confirm them. The official date has not been announced. King, directed by Siddharth Anand, stays locked for December 24, 2026. The film features Aneet Padda in a double role as Shakti and a vengeful spirit named Shalini. Seema Biswas and Soham Majumdar are also part of the cast. An official announcement is awaited.
