Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 232 crore in 6 days despite midweek dip
Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed Rs 232 crore net in India in six days. Trade tracker sacnilk reports the film earned Rs 15.5 crore net on day 6, Wednesday. The total stands at Rs 232.5 crore net.
The film opened on October 2 with Rs 62 crore net, Ajay Devgn’s biggest career opening. It dipped to Rs 53.5 crore on Saturday and rebounded to Rs 61 crore on Sunday. Weekday collections fell to Rs 21 crore on Monday and Rs 19 crore on Tuesday.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the thriller crossed Rs 100 crore in just two days. Worldwide, it has grossed about Rs 364 crore, with Rs 279 crore from India and Rs 85 crore from overseas.
The film is the third and final part of the Drishyam franchise. It co-stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor and Prakash Raj. Trade experts expect it to cross Rs 250 crore net in its first week.
