Indian 3 Confirmed: War Mode Posters Out, Post-Production Begins

Kamal Haasan and director Shankar’s Indian 3 has been officially confirmed, with Lyca Productions unveiling fresh War Mode posters and announcing that post-production has begun.
The film picks up from the cliffhanger ending of Indian 2, following the story of Senapathy’s father Veerasekaran Balram, another freedom fighter played by Haasan. The posters introduce the film with an aggressive new look, and reports suggest the makers are eyeing a Pongal 2027 release.
Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha and SJ Suryah return from the second film. The technical crew includes composer Anirudh and cinematographer Ravi Varman, with Subaskaran and GKM Tamil Kumaran producing.
The confirmation settles months of speculation. After Indian 2’s underwhelming response, reports earlier this year had suggested the third part might be shelved, with Shankar moving to other projects.
For fans of the franchise that began in 1996, the announcement is a relief. Whether Indian 3 can recapture the original’s magic will be the big question when it reaches theatres.
