GTA 6 map details confirm no Disney-style theme parks

Rockstar Games has shared major new details about Grand Theft Auto 6’s map ahead of its November 19 release.
The game is set in Leonida, a fictional take on Florida. The map is split into six regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
Rockstar says the map is nearly twice the size of GTA V’s San Andreas. It also features a dynamic weather system with tropical storms and hurricanes, plus 170 animal species.
One thing the map will not have: parodies of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios or SeaWorld. Rockstar said it had to be selective about locations so each one serves the game’s needs.
Vice City is the game’s take on Miami. Grassrivers stands in for the Everglades. The northern Mount Kalaga region is based on rural north Florida.
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date.
