Marico raises Plix parent stake to 84% for Rs 1,012 crore

FMCG major Marico has raised its stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals, the parent company of plant-based wellness brand Plix, to 84.09 per cent.

According to a stock exchange filing, Marico bought an additional 24.09 per cent stake for Rs 1,012.03 crore on October 5. Its holding has risen from 60 per cent to 84.09 per cent on a fully diluted basis. The company's aggregate investment for the stake now stands at Rs 1,392.07 crore.

The remaining 14.09 per cent stake held by the founders and other shareholders is scheduled to be acquired in July 2027 for a base consideration of up to Rs 592 crore, along with milestone-linked payments.

Satiya Nutraceuticals owns The Plant Fix-Plix, which sells plant-based nutrition and personal care products. The company reported consolidated turnover of Rs 864.31 crore in FY26, nearly double the Rs 432.84 crore recorded in FY25.
