Tu Hai Meri Kiran trailer out; Sonakshi-Zaheer film on Oct 23
The trailer of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's psychological thriller Tu Hai Meri Kiran was released on Tuesday, October 6.
The two-minute-15-second trailer introduces Sonakshi as Kiran and Zaheer as Samar. What begins as a connection between the two slowly turns into one-sided obsession, with Samar's feelings growing possessive and unsettling.
The film is the real-life couple's first lead pairing since their wedding in June 2024. Its tagline reads, "She found a connection, he found an obsession."
The Central Board of Film Certification cleared the trailer with a U/A 16+ rating. The title nods to the 1993 film Darr, where the obsessive lover sang "Tu Hai Meri Kiran" for Juhi Chawla's character Kiran.
Written and directed by debutant Karan Rawal, the film is produced by Vishal Rana's Echelon Productions. The makers have deliberately kept the central twist hidden, which has drawn comparisons to Darr online.
Tu Hai Meri Kiran releases in cinemas on October 23, where it will clash with Ayushmann Khurrana's Udta Teer.
