Rod Stewart Scraps Farewell Tour After Heart Procedure

Rod Stewart has cancelled his farewell tour dates. The 81-year-old singer called off the remaining concerts of his One Last Time tour in August after a coronary stent procedure.
The cancelled shows spanned North America and Mexico. A six-date Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace was also scrapped. Doctors advised four weeks of rest for full recovery. His team said he is doing well and back to daily activities.
Stewart told fans he was deeply disappointed to miss the shows. He had already battled health setbacks this year, including infections that forced earlier cancellations.
In a twist, Stewart announced a brand new tour on September 28. The Final Encore tour will run across the UK and Europe from April to July 2027, with US dates too. He called it his last rock tour ever, while insisting he is not retiring. Ticket holders for cancelled shows are being offered refunds. Promoters say details are being shared directly with buyers. Stewart’s team has not set a date for his return to the stage.
