All 32 NATO Members Send Military Reps to Kyiv in 8 Years

Military representatives from all 32 NATO member states have arrived in Kyiv. It is the first such visit in eight years.
The delegation’s trip comes as Ukraine seeks continued support for its air defences. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukraine needs guaranteed help defending against both cruise missiles and drones.
The visit is the largest gathering of NATO military officials in Ukraine since the alliance’s military committee last travelled there. Several Ukrainian outlets reported the arrival on Oct. 7.
Kyiv has used the visit to press for more air-defence systems. Zelenskyy said updated intelligence shows Russia is preparing a large new attack on Ukraine’s energy grid.
The timing underlines how central Ukraine’s defence remains to NATO planning. Member states are weighing new aid packages as winter approaches and strikes on energy infrastructure intensify.
Ukraine’s presidential office said the talks focused on air defence. The visit follows a NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, where continued support for Kyiv was high on the agenda.
