Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah is planning five projects across films and OTT over the next 12 months. Sources say the slate includes three feature films and two web series. Several projects are at various stages of development.

One confirmed project is Samuk, starring Akshay Kumar. The makers recently used a real helicopter for a dramatic London sequence instead of VFX. Details of the other four projects are under wraps. The scale is described as huge, with work moving at a rapid pace.

Shah is known for backing bold subjects. His recent production The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond did well in theatres and on ZEE5. His upcoming slate also includes The Silent Saviour: Governor, starring Manoj Bajpayee, and Hisaab, a heist thriller with Jaideep Ahlawat and Shefali Shah.

The five-project slate will span theatrical cinema and streaming. Shah’s banner Sunshine Pictures continues to focus on stories that spark conversation. Further announcements on cast and timelines are expected as production progresses.
