The release of Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar’s rural horror film Kaali Kheti has been postponed. The film will now arrive in theatres on November 20, 2026. It was earlier set for October 23.

The film is written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan. It is produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio. The cast also includes Neha Sargam, Virendra Saxena and Shaji Choudhary in key roles.

Kaali Kheti is set against a rustic Indian backdrop. It examines agriculture, family legacy and buried secrets through a supernatural lens. The makers have kept the plot under wraps. The first poster teased an eerie rural setting without revealing the horror elements.

The postponement moves the film away from a crowded October 23 line-up. That date also had other releases planned. The new November 20 date gives the horror film a clearer run at the box office. Trade watchers will track whether the shift helps the film find its audience.
