LuminosAI has opened its no-code AI evaluation platform to everyone with a new free, self-serve tier announced on October 6. Anyone building AI can now sign up on their own, describe what they are building in plain language, and get a custom evaluation of whether their AI behaves as intended.The platform automatically builds custom tests to verify AI performance. No code, no salesperson and no waiting on engineering teams is needed. The company also offers a paid self-serve tier with usage-based pricing, volume discounts and full integrations for teams that need greater scale.Founder Andrew Burt said rigorous AI evaluation should be as accessible as AI development itself. The company was founded in 2023 by lawyers, data scientists and cybersecurity experts and is based in Washington, D.C.The expansion reflects how AI building has moved beyond technical teams. Gartner projects that by the end of 2026, 80 per cent of low-code platform users will come from outside IT. A 2025 KPMG survey found 52 per cent of 2,170 companies plan to rely on non-technical citizen developers for most custom app development.
