The United States face Canada in a friendly at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday night, closing an extended 16-day international window. Kickoff is at 8 pm ET. Mauricio Pochettino's young side have won all three games so far, beating Peru, Chile and Mexico 3-0, scoring 11 goals. Teenagers Cavan Sullivan and Julian Hall both scored against Mexico. 'It's a new chapter,' Pochettino said, with his roster almost four years younger than the World Cup squad. Canada are the tougher test: the US have not beaten their northern neighbours in six tries since 2021, losing the last two meetings 2-1, including the Concacaf Nations League third-place game. Both teams reached the round of 16 at the home World Cup in the summer. Canada arrive with back-to-back wins over Chile and Peru and back-to-back clean sheets. The match is the first of the 2030 World Cup cycle for Pochettino, who signed a contract extension through 2030.
