Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle has crossed Rs 196 crore at the worldwide box office, earning a “Plus” verdict from trade trackers.

According to Koimoi, the film has collected Rs 137.93 crore in India and Rs 196.1 crore worldwide. Its opening day brought Rs 19.4 crore including paid previews, and the opening weekend reached Rs 65.83 crore — among 2026’s biggest.

The film opened with Rs 15.33 crore on Friday after Rs 4.07 crore in Thursday paid previews, Bollywood Hungama reported, calling it one of the year’s top opening days.

Akshay Kumar now has two films among the year’s biggest openers, with Bhooth Bangla also in the top ranks. Trade analysts credit positive word of mouth for the film’s hold.

The comedy continues to run strong, with its lifetime total chasing Bhooth Bangla’s benchmark.

The film’s day-two collection of Rs 21.02 crore was a 38 per cent jump over day one. Koimoi ranks its Rs 65.83 crore opening weekend 8th among 2026 Bollywood releases.
