MP filled 85,000 posts, 1 lakh more coming: CM

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said his government has filled over 85,000 posts and will recruit for one lakh more next year.
Yadav made the announcement on October 5 in a post on X. The recruitments will run through the MP Staff Selection Board and the MP Public Service Commission.
The 85,000 appointments cover the last two and a half years. They span departments including education, health, police, revenue and public works.
The one-lakh target would be one of the largest single-year hiring drives in the state’s recent history. The state aims to give government jobs to around 2.5 lakh young people over a few years.
Government jobs remain one of the most politically charged issues in Madhya Pradesh. Competitive exams for state posts draw millions of applicants each cycle.
Yadav said the announcement makes job creation a central promise of his government. If the recruitments happen on schedule, it will define a major chapter of his tenure.
