The Hindi trailer of 418, the horror thriller presented by Prashanth Neel, was released on Sunday. The film will open in theatres worldwide on October 23 during the Dussehra festive season.

Made by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is written and directed by Kirtan Nadagouda in his directorial debut. It will release in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

The trailer opens with a watchman describing a haunted house that even birds have not entered. It then follows 18-year-old Vivek, who struggles to tell reality from hallucination. The mystery centres on the VIMS building, sealed for 15 years, and Room No. 418.

The film was first slated for July 31 but faced censor objections and got an A certificate. A September 18 release was then pushed again for a wider multi-language rollout.

Chaithra Achar plays Devika, whose story turns the trailer from a psychological thriller into full horror. Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju and Preethi Pagadala also feature.
