Brazil Cruise to 4-0 Friendly Win Over India in Kolkata

Samuel Lino scored his first two goals for Brazil as the five-time world champions cruised to a 4-0 friendly win over India at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday, in the first-ever senior meeting between the two nations.
Chelsea winger Estevao broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, cutting in from the right to finish with his left foot, before setting up Pedro for the second just before half-time. Substitute Lino added the third in the 58th minute and completed his brace deep in stoppage time before a crowd of 51,000 that cheered the visitors as loudly as the hosts.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti made eight changes from the 4-2 win over Australia, retaining only Vinicius Jr, Danilo and Gabriel Bontempo, as Brazil concluded their tour of Australia and India with two wins and a draw.
India, ranked 138th in the world, held Brazil for 27 minutes and created chances through Manvir Singh and Ryan Williams, but extended their winless streak to six matches. India next face Uruguay in Kolkata on October 6.
