Rahul Gandhi launches ‘Satyagraha’ portal to map protests

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a digital platform called ‘Satyagraha’. It maps protests and public grievances from across India on a single interactive map.
The portal, at rahulgandhi.in/satyagraha, was launched on October 3, 2026. Citizens can submit their stories in about two minutes. Each entry appears as a pin on a nationwide map.
The platform covers farmers, students, Dalits, tribals, OBCs and women. Gandhi said a voice that rises alone is often silenced. He promised to raise the stories in Parliament, on the streets and through letters.
Within nine hours of launch, more than 10,000 people and groups had signed up, reports said. Early entries span education, land rights, corruption, environment and health.
The launch came a day after Delhi protests against the Election Commission. Gandhi drew on Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy, saying “truth is the greatest weapon”. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said the initiative would run for years to amplify citizen voices.
