R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran have joined the cast of Akshay Kumar and Sajid Khan’s upcoming untitled comedy, produced by Ektaa R Kapoor.

The film is being planned as an out-and-out comedy of errors revolving around middle-aged men, mounted on a large scale. Disha Patani and Shriya Saran will play the romantic leads, according to reports in Mid-day cited by Movie Talkies.

Madhavan will reunite with Akshay after their appearance in Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh (2025), where they played rivals in a courtroom drama. The new film puts them on the same side for a full-fledged Sajid Khan comedy.

The makers are expected to take the film on floors in London by the end of 2026 or early 2027 in a start-to-finish schedule. Akshay is expected to begin work after wrapping up Kanishk Varma’s alien survival thriller Samuk.

The project reunites Akshay with Sajid Khan after Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2, and marks Sajid’s return to directing mainstream feature films after a long hiatus.
