Anthropic Pledges $100M to Train 10,000 AI Engineers

Anthropic announced on October 2 that it will spend 100 million dollars on a new training program, the Claude Frontier Academy. The goal is to certify 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027.
The first cohorts draw on Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Participants come from companies in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network.
The program follows a medical-residency model. Engineers start with multi-day in-person training and a simulated enterprise deployment, then move into a 12-week residency where they lead a real Claude project inside their own employer.
Steve Corfield, Anthropic’s global head of business development and partnerships, said no AI company has invested in developing talent inside customers and partners at this depth. Cohorts are already under way in San Francisco, New York and London.
The first credentialed badges are expected in early 2027.
