Rahul Gandhi launches Satyagraha digital platform

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a digital platform called Satyagraha on October 3, inviting citizens to record two-minute videos of their protests and join what he called a people’s movement.
The platform, at rahulgandhi.in/satyagraha, features a map of protests from across India. Citizens can upload short videos about struggles related to education, farming, women’s issues and land. Gandhi said every two minutes of recorded truth becomes part of a national story.
“Jo awaaz akeli uthti hai, wo aksar dab jaati hai. Lekin jab desh ki saari awaazein ek saath uthti hain, to unhe dabana namumkin ho jaata hai,” Gandhi said, adding that “Satyagraha” would become the country’s collective voice. He invoked Mahatma Gandhi, saying satyagraha turned isolated protests into a mass movement.
Gandhi claimed the platform received more than 10,000 entries within nine hours of launch, according to his post on X. The launch came a day after Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The platform is being positioned as a way to connect local protests with a national campaign. It follows Gandhi’s recent campaigns on electoral rolls and other issues.
