Samsung to launch first AI glasses in November

Samsung will launch its first artificial intelligence glasses in November, a company official has confirmed to The Korea Herald. Pricing and launch markets are still unknown.
Called Intelligent Eyewear, the glasses have no visual display. A camera and microphones capture what the wearer sees and hears, and Google’s Gemini AI processes it through a connected Galaxy smartphone, with answers delivered through speakers in the frame.
Samsung developed the glasses with Google on the Android XR platform and eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. Up to nine hours of battery life is claimed, with the charging case giving seven further full charges.
The company is targeting a weight below Meta’s 51-gram Ray-Ban Meta model. Two lights indicate when recording is active, and the camera switches off if the outer light is covered.
Samsung enters a market where Meta holds 94 per cent of display-less AI glasses, with global shipments up 263 per cent in the first half of 2026.
